I've lived in Nebraska my whole life. There's just something about that prairie calmness - it's difficult to adequately describe to those who haven't experienced it. Standing on a hillside, overlooking endless acres of rolling grasslands, with the only sound the clicking of a camera shutter: it's unmatched. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Being a photographer living in the Midwest, I love capturing the rural scenes of my home state, but I also have an itch for traveling whenever I can. I'm always planning my next adventure, so be sure to stay up to date on my travels through both my website and my various social media channels.
Since picking up a DSLR camera in late 2013, I have been fortunate to shoot multiple freelance assignments for the magazine NebraskaLife, as well as also being published in National Geographic, NEBRASKAland Magazine, and Midwest Living Magazine. I have had content featured by NASA, Smithsonian, REI, Cabelas, and Mossy Oak.
Recent work includes creating imagery for books authored by Cara Whitney, wife of comedian and actor Dan Whitney (Larry the Cable Guy).
More information about my journey as a photographer can be found in a recent interview with Nikon, Here.
